Some background:
I bought BTC last October, and during the first three months of 2017 I took 10 % from my initial investment and bought some bigger alts after some research - ETH, XRP, DASH, XMR, ETC. They have done pretty well, and that is the main reason BTC now only makes up 74% of my total.
In may 2017 I sold a chunk of my XRP for more BTC, and after that I have bought a bunch of low cap alts, some of which I have researched a bit, some of which I have not. These are mainly for gamble, I’m waiting for a few of them to moon at some point.
Im not a day trader, but have done some trading, for example I was playing around with XMR during the Bithumb listing, and made a decent amount with a couple of well timed trades. I do check the markets daily, and read quite a lot, mainly Reddit. But, its impossible to keep track of that many coins.
I was thinking about taking some weight off my BTC -holdings (maybe to bring it to 70% of the total), and distributing it between the 35 0.X% alts that I have, maybe get a new coin or two, or maybe ditching a few from my list.
Any suggestions?

Some notes:
- I am going to be heavily biased towards BTC, not going to go much below 70%
- I am a Hodler, in this for the long term, I intend to quit my day job with crypto.
- Alts are a fun way of acquiring more BTC, thats how I see it. I already have more BTC than when I started, even though it is just 74% of my portfolio compared to it being 100% early this year. Aiming for at least 21.
- I don’t trust XRP in the long term, but I’m not ready to ditch it just yet. I believe its going to have another run towards $0.50 soonish, and thats when I’ll sell some.
- There is no BCash, this is intentional.
- Due to rounding, the above coins total at 102%. Irrelevant.
