ASCH (XAS) - The Chinese Lisk

Summary: I’ve been following Asch for about 3 months (including pre-China ban). About a month a go, I flew from the US to China to visit the team - see posts #1 and #2 . Community is strong in China. Team is committed and growing. I think it’s similar to Antshares/NEO where the lack of initial western marketing has kept them hidden. Further analysis below:   Overview: Asch is a fork of Crypti similar to Lisk. Both are Javascript, DPOS, and use side-chains.   Community: Although the Reddit ( r/Asch_Platform ) following is low (under 600), in China, they have a very active forum, and many Asch-focused QQ and WeChat groups (similar to Telegram or GroupMe). The offices are in Beijing, but Asch is well known all over China and has volunteers from many provinces.   Team: Team is extremely committed. Asch had their ICO in 2016 and they have continued to expand since then. They currently have 14 people who work in their offices in positions including back-end development, front-end

$DBIX will become the $ETH of the MENA (Middle East & North Africa) & Palmex will resemble what Coinbase is to North America. Don't miss this ship!

DBIX will continue to grow in value over the next 3-4 weeks despite periodic dips in price due to (i) early investor selloffs and (ii) continued inflation from a coin supply that is increasing relatively fast compared to the current low market capitalization. As Arabianchain begins to take the spotlight at instrumental Blockchain events such as a Dubai’s GITEX Technology Week (October 2017 https://www.gitex.com/ ) and The World Block Chain Summit (October 2017 http://ift.tt/2wIdWnn ) and upcoming events such as Entrepreneur Day hosted by Dubai's Government sponsored programs DTEC & DSO (November 2017 http://ift.tt/2gPl9ff ), MENA and global investors will start to build their investment/crypto portfolios with DBIX- planning to hold for the potential in long term value growth. A Perfect Storm- DBIX, for a short time, became the most undervalued cryptocurrency since Ethereum (DBIX had a $5.1M Market Cap. on October 24, 2017) while investors turned away from 'alt coins'

Hitbtc withdrawal fees for populous (PPT)

I have 2.1 PPT in my Hitbtc account. It's not alot but it's worth around $80. I just went to withdraw my ppt to my NEW address and noticed that Hitbtc are asking for 2PPT to make a withdrawal! That will cost me around $70. Why are they asking for so much? Is this a possible issue with having unregulated exchanges? I am aware the eth network is screwing around and fees are having to be increased but this is taking the hand out of it. Has anyone else ever seen this or have any suggestions on how to get my PPT out and not lose it all to an extortionate fee? submitted by /u/barryflood [link] [comments] Read More

South Korean government to illegalize cryptocurrency trading. BUT don't PANIC.

Hello, I'm korean and and this is the latest Korean news regarding crypto regulations. South Korean government to ban cryptocurrency trading. but don't panic and HODL. South Korean people will still legally be able to trade and cryptocurrency as before. They will not shut down the current Korean crypto exchanges as long as they meet the government's seven requirements. the exchanges will have six months to conform the new law. (deposit requirements, duty to explain the risk, real name check, money laundering prevention system, multiple private key backup storage requirement. etc..) so main idea of the new law is to protect people from scams and fake crypto exchanges. http://ift.tt/2BSeWaT submitted by /u/motivr [link] [comments] Read More

Acebusters crowdsale ending soon (poker)

I like poker, I'll bite. http://ift.tt/2zWAbZm Whitepaper Acebusters is a decentralized poker platform made by obsessive poker and cryptography fans. We strive to create Acebusters as a decentralized application (Dapp) which will offer the service of dealing cards and settling bets. The open and borderless nature of blockchain will allow players from all over the world to connect and create the largest poker liquidity pool seen to date. As a result of countless hours invested in research and development, we have laid the foundation for the Dapp on 1 May 2017, by launching a public beta offering for play-money at beta.acebusters.com. Through the use of multi-party state channels, a technology we developed to minimize the cost of interaction with the Ethereum blockchain, we have pioneered real-time cash games on the Ethereum blockchain. With our web-app we have been able to attract about 1,500 visitors to our beta and achieved a 13.1% visitor-to-client conversion rate. During the

Bittrex Any2Any ? Diversifying out of Doge

The price of Bitcoin is a mirage...

The $17,000 has no context and is meaningless. What is "one" bitcoin? It's not a measure of weight, or size, or a standard amount that is actually used in the real world - like a carat, or a barrel, or an ounce. People get caught up that the price of bitcoin is exploding because its jumping "thousands of dollars" in hours. Well, not really... a $1000 increase now is equal to a 5.8% increase... submitted by /u/nicoy3k [link] [comments] Read More

Its ridiculous. I've never seen anything like it. At this rate it'll take over bitcoin. What is causing litecoin to relentlessly shoot up in price? HST (Horizon State/Decision Token): can this idea ever pay off?

So, the idea behind HST is interesting. Basically, the platform operates through the use of Decision Tokens (HST), used for voting processes among governments and companies. They're billing the system as "redesigning democracy." http://ift.tt/2wlXb4v Weighty stuff, and as of now it's not tradable on any of the major exchanges and is languishing near its ICO price (near $10m MC). The reason I bring it up is as a REQ investor, I'm looking for the next game changer under $100M, and my list is down to two: HST and CHI (Chimaera token, a decentralized video game development platform, not ICOed yet). My question for you guys is: have you heard anything about HST that merits buying at the lows? I like the idea, but personally it's tough to see how this will actually take off. It sounds "flashy," but may not have an actual use case enough to push shares up IMO. submitted by /u/jakem13311331 [link] [comments] Read More

Poloniex - Warning. Failed Verification of identity will set your daily withdrawal limit to $0 indefinitely.

Until last week my USD withdrawal limits were set to $7,000.00 (basic verification limits). I decided to verify my account to get up to $25,000.00 withdrawal limit per day but the automated process failed without giving any reason. Now my account is essentially locked with $0.00 USD withdrawal limit and I cannot move any money into or out of my account. Has anyone else dealt with this issue before? How did you get it resolved? What really upsets me is that they gave no warning that this could happen if the process failed. Deutsche Bank "central banks could develop their own cryptocurrencies and replace the private ones in the market".

[source](goo.gl/RYVYaG) It's inevitable banks will create their own currencies. They have the money and savvy to develop the market, and big investors and bigger speculators likely trust banks over a decentralized* system. No more bear markets?

Everyone's saying bitcoin is a bubble right now. It sure looks that way. There will be panic selling at some point. But what if the money in altcoins starts panic selling? Most will sell their alts for bitcoin before they cash out into USD or EUR or something. So while bitcoin holders might be panic selling BTC at some point, altcoin holders will be desperate to get into BTC. Therefore, a panic in BTC will create a demand for BTC. Is this the perfect dynamic? Do you guys think this kind of self-correction could prevent another long term bear market? And how would futures play into this? Those investors are most likely not in altcoins, so if big money leaves the crypto market completely, it will most likely be there. Getting started trading Crypto

Started trading a couple months ago and these kinda posts really helped me out to get into the trading space and understanding what blockchain is and the mind blowing applications it can have. So I decided I`d try my hand at it and hopefully catch some new comers and give them some good information on where to look and some hard lessons i've learned hopefully also pointing you to the general places to get better information. I`ve made a couple of mistakes so far and the worst one is panicking when I have done my research on an investment but selling because of panic. If you have done your research and you believe an investment will work stick to your convictions and if you have to sell, consider rather selling a portion. The FOMO is real if a coin has already shot up 30% and you`re not on the train rather not buy you've probably missed it and you might be buying the top but there are exceptions though, this is crypto after all, so just make sure. These reddit pages and the

Is there any information about how much cryptocurrency is simply 'lost' over the past few years?

I've heard many, many stories of individuals who once had some early cryptocurrency on a drive, or on a paper wallet and it was lost. I've heard of trading sites and cleaners having to shut their doors, and taking all on-site currency with them. I've heard dozens of stories were, after enabling two-factor-authentication, traders got a new phone, and found themselves permanently locked out of their accounts, blaming the site when it's clear as day that it was their own fault. Fires, floods, and a lack of planning can make these assets seem very frail. Is there any information about how much cryptocurrency is simply 'lost' over the past few years? I'm under the impression that lost currency helps push deflation.
