BTC is probably due for a correction very soon.

The six-hour view: http://ift.tt/2qVwxNS Does that look sustainable? The latest candle is the largest jump ever, and the MFI is nearing 80%. The last time the MFI peaked like this, it was followed by a large crash. I think I'll sell and buy back near the bottom. submitted by /u/Guomindang [link] [comments] Read More

Do you keep separate wallets for every coin you purchase?

For example, a wallet for BTC, a wallet for ETH, a wallet for STRAT, etc.? I want to invest in a multitude of coins on Polo or Bittrex but it sounds like a pain to make wallets on air gapped machines and back them up and keep track of the keys etc when the two sites I mentioned could do the same, just less securely. Should I just wait unitl I make it big (lol) and then transfer all to offline wallets? submitted by /u/Polkadottedzan [link] [comments] Read More

Getting historical data

How could I access historical data from multiple exchanges? Is using each exchange's API the best way to do so? I'm aware of Quandle's API and things like CoinMarketCap but wondering if anyone else has any other good ways of doing so. submitted by /u/spiga_00 [link] [comments] Read More

New in crypto need help ? please:)

Hello ! I'm new in crypto and there are some things i don't understand. So I have 2 questions and I hope someone will answer them. (Might be stupid questions but nvm haha) 1) Why do we need to look at the market cap of a coin before buying it ? Usually when the market cap is huge its a good sign ? 2) I was looking at charts of some altcoins and I noticed some coins get greater growth ( 100 times greater sometimes) in Dollars than in bitcoin. What's the reason of this difference ? Therefore is it better to buy in dollars ? submitted by /u/nam34 [link] [comments] Read More

Anyone holding BAT?

Hi all BAT was listed in Bittrex 2-3days ago, and I know there was an issue of 2 whales have taken majority of the stake during ICO, but does it really affect the value of the coin? Besides, I don't think the 2 whales will be satisfied enough to make it just double or triple price. That means it can go up further (all other things aside). Am I not true? I'm currently holding BAT and wondering the evaluation of this coin between coin collectors. submitted by /u/Kungfu_dumpling [link] [comments] Read More

Ethereum

I am a newer cryptocurrency owner and It seems that ETH is one of the best options for long term investment the moment. if my portfolio would only take up a smaller amount ($100-200)USD, is it worth the investment for strictly ETH now? And if so, what price level do you think i should BUY BUY BUY and what would you predict ETH to be worth 1-2 years from now? thank you submitted by /u/g37baby [link] [comments] Read More

Cryptocurrency Question

I have been reading a lot about cryptocurrency lately, especially with the explosion in some of the prices. But I still don't understand a lot about it in regards to what makes one different than the other. I know they are all blockchain based but besides that what makes them different? Other than the sake of someone 'wanting to get rich quick' from starting their own Cryptocurrency, why are programs not written based on an already reputable currency like bitcoin. What would be the advantage of creating a new cryptocurrency, other than wanting to 'get rich quick,' and by what aspects of the blockchain technology make one cryptocurrency differ from the next? Please provide examples. submitted by /u/GTOInvesting [link] [comments] Read More

Kraken verification taking longer than two weeks

I know that there is an influx of new users but I signed up and uploaded all my documents for verification more than two weeks ago. I have submitted two support requests and no response for 10 days. Colnbase, kraken, and gemeni have all been taking forever to let me put my money in. I understand it's hard to scale a company but they stand to make a lot on fees and the first one to verify me is going to get the Lions share, can't they do anything after two weeks to speed this up? Anyway, just a heads up for anyone new looking to get on. Start the process now, it takes a long time. submitted by /u/mgeyser [link] [comments] Read More

How can a crap coin like Goldcoin (GLD), be up over 100% today?

I actually have a couple of thousand of these coins leftover from my mining days and am thinking this spike is a good time to finally unload them. Is the price spike today a fluke or is there something more viable happening with Goldcoin? submitted by /u/teknic111 [link] [comments] Read More

New to Crypto Currency. Question about various exchanges.

Hi all, I wish I would have jumped on the boat a few years ago when I first heard about bitcoin, and just bought 10$ worth haha, but alas! I purchased some currency for the first time last week. I went to Coinbase, as I'm sure many new individuals do, but am now looking at purchasing from somewhere else and avoiding the 4% fee. Here's where I run into a little bit of a rub. I'm looking at GDAX, Gemini (I hear they accept CAD now), Kraken, and Qudrigacx as I am in Canada. Looking at the buying price of these right now Gdax is at 2614.95$, Gemini is 2606.55$, 2616.50$ on Kraken, and Quadrigacx is 2610.01$ (USD). Given this comparison, and this may be a dumb question, but why would I not want to buy on the least expensive exchange? And also, I am trying to get my currency out of coinbase and into a wallet while paying the lowest fees. Is the best way to move it over to gdax and withdraw through there? Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/dbmyter [link] [comments]

Don't Use Kraken!

Don't Use this crypto currency trader. The platform is really bad. To start with it took them 10+ days to verify my tier 1 and 2. Then I deposited €1800 6 days ago and still haven't got it on my account. I have mailed their support multiple times about the problem that my money is on hold. Yesterday I had the first response from someone of the support, but this was not about my balance but about a conformation of my tier 3. I then mailed her back to please give a response about my ticket from 6 days back. Now what you guess, 24 hours later still no response! I mailed them again and hopefully they will react now. All I can say is, don't use Kraken. They have a horrible platform and a horrible support, which don't respond on anything you send them. if I knew this before I would have never chosen this platform in the first place. I just want to warn the new people who joining trading in crypto currency. You are better of using a different one. submitted by /u/Beer

Why Ethereum is not Just Digital "Oil"

Kraken Tier 1 and Tier 2 Verification

Hello, I've been having a problem with Kraken. I have been waiting for over a week for tier 1 and tier 2 verification, but it is still processing. It's very frustrating as I can literally do nothing until this is processed. What should I do to resolve this? I email kraken and just get the typical auto response. On Kraken's website it says the verification should take no more than 48 hours! Thank you submitted by /u/pmo20 [link] [comments] Read More

Wagerr Tokens Selling Well

Wagerr introduced its WGR Wagerr tokens through its ICO that opened just 4 days ago on June 1, 2017. It was interesting that they only set a period of 24 days for the sale rather than the usual month by most. The structure of the Initial Coin offering was set in rounds for the sports betting platform. There were ten rounds set at the outset with the first releasing 17 million coins, rounds 2-9 were 7.l75 million coins and round ten 6 million. Wagerr Tokens (WGR) Sale Update As of the time of this post, WGR tokens have sold very well and fast. Round ten is already at 1.2 million coins. It definitely looks like the ten rounds will close soon. The company may have anticipated this success (of course they wanted it) as it set a contingency. “If Round 10 successfully completes on or before June 14th, the ICO will expand to maximize distribution and capitalization for development. The ICO will extend by no more than 10 Rounds.” You can read our complete profile of Wagerr by clicking on

An idea for an online shop

I searched over the Internet and I dint find any online stores that accept only cryptocurrencies.Yeah there are some webistes that accepts bitcoin as a payment method, but fiat too. And only 1 cryptocoin. So I want to shrae my idea to you, maybe you will have the money to build a wensite like this. I dont have, I'm poor:) So think at a website like amazon or somthing smaller like selling cigars online or something. And you start to accept only cryptocurrencies, lets say bitcoin, ethereum, dash, xrp . Advantages: SECURITY - you will not be afraid anymore of chargeback, credit cards fraud etc. Cryptos cannot be reversable, so you are confident that you actually sold the product and you have the money. AWARNESS - more and more people will see your site and they start to be interested in coins, meaning more investment in cryptos. FIRST ON BOAT - your site will be the first of that kind. Even if now people dont see its true potential, it will have a big one. At the begining of online s
