What are your references or sources on learning how to trade?

I've been watching alot of youtube videos for the past few weeks now because I am wanting to know more about intra trading or day trading. So I was just wondering if there are any other resources that I could read to learn more about trading? Like strategies or how you use indicators? I haven't encountered anyone on youtube that explains these well. submitted by /u/erroltiozon [link] [comments] Read More

We are entering "capitulation" stage now

As perfectly as I had predicted before "fear" stage is almost passed and we are entering "capitulation" now. Anyone still holding bags still and falling for hodl memes is a tard. Just look: http://ift.tt/2tkRnX7 It fits almost perfectly. And you know what - don't cope, it won't recover. Tulip and south sea bubbles only burst once. ONCE You had your chance. And you missed it. Where can i short to USD? + general shorting questions.

Shorting ETH and XRP on Poloniex via margin trading but would like to pair it against USD or USDT, is there anywhere to do this? Can someone with more experience w/ shorts point me towards the viable directions available? I would love to have a wider variety of pairs and alts to short, and if thats not easily available is there another way to set up trustless trade with a willing counter-party? submitted by /u/finleyohrstrom [link] [comments] Read More

Hodl, sell or buy? - Fundamental analysis of cryptocurrencies

To hodl, sell or buy? I guess most of us have been following the negative trend and felt a bit nervous lately. At least I have. Therefore I'd like share my opinion with regards to valuing cryptocurrencies! -I'd also like to start with apologizing for such a lengthy post. - I think there are two (mainly) possible reasons why people invest cryptocurrencies. 1. Because the hype and the hope for quick rewards and all the "moon" talk. or 2. Because of you as an investor understands and believes in the underlying blockchain technology. As I see it, if you'd invest in cryptocurrency for reason 1, I'd also panic and start asking around whether to sell or hodl. However, I'm in the space of cryptocurrency for reason 2. I've been researching and following the technology for long and in my opinion, blockchain technology really has something to offer that no current technology (by its own) can. Whether it be the blockchain characteristic of irreversibility being i

Greater Fools Theory: Digital Currency will become viable only if it is widely used for transactions, not just as an investment device .

Hello Fellow Redditers and Cryptocurrency investors, Digital currency is tumultuously fermenting. Many people on this site are discussing what moves to make with their ETH, BTC, etc. It is during times like these that I like to remind people of the Greater Fools Theory. I fear this is causing the current direction of Cryptocurrencies, and I urge people to get back to focus on what cryptocurrency was created for... PAYING FOR THINGS. Only then will it have true intrinsic value. THE GREATER FOOLS THEORY is a Financial theory that states, A price can be justified by a rational buyer under the belief that another party is willing to pay an even higher price. Simply put it means a reasonable investor could buy something that has no value only because s/he thinks someone else will buy it later for more. This almost always leads to a bubble and a crash. If we all want cryptocurrency to succeed, we must ensure it builds intrinsic value. We must demand that retailers accept it as payment,

My Portfolio is GREEN!

My portfolio is green as can be, unless I look at it in fiat... BTC values are up! Correct me if I'm wrong, though. If you're still gaining on the top decentralized currency in the market, with the purpose of making fiat currency obsolete, then that should be an indicator of portfolio strength... or am I just a delusional hodler? submitted by /u/Antburd [link] [comments] Read More

Cryptocurrencies right now are where Cisco Systems were in 1999

It is really sad that many don't see this: http://ift.tt/2tind7r Cryptos suffered a massive bubble being massively overvalued at $110B. "Drop in the ocean" delusions kept the market going. Now, akin to 1999 dot-com boom the bubble has burst and will go to low of $10-$20B. It won't recover. Cryptos will be still used, but people will be more rational about them and won't pump so much due to fear of bubbles. CiscoSystems are still in operation, but anyone who invested in 1999-2000 is in deep red: http://ift.tt/2tind7r Absolutely the same with cryptos, it won't recover. submitted by /u/AnythingForSuccess [link] [comments] Read More

Noob question: Are alt-coins on poloniex unaffected from a possible BTC split (except for the price fluctuation)? Is it okay to keep the alt-coins on Polo?

Dear Gurus, Noob question here. I have most of my BTC converted to ETH and the rest to alt-coins (GNT, XRP etc); they are all on Poloniex. I want to avoid withdrawing everything to a wallet and then again bringing them all into Polo after Aug 1. Assuming Polo doesn't get hacked or shutdown or doesn't vanish into thin air, is it safe to say that I am unaffected from the UASF and a possible BTC split(since I don't hold any BTC)? I do understand the prices of all my alts may fall drastically, that's okay as long as they are not lost entirely. TIA submitted by /u/odiacryptopanda [link] [comments] Read More

How to loose all your ETH

I sold an ether. Used the money to buy a shit bike. I went for a ride with the bike. I saw a prostitute. I offered my bike for a fuck. I fucked. She got pregnant. I tried to deny.
