How do you keep track of how much orgininal money you put into crypto?

Scam alert or genius?

As 50% of the crowd thinks BitConnect is a ponzi, I decided anyway to lend some money to the system and don’t know yet how long this will go. Now, it looks like everyone is doing a lending/referral website, some of them (like bitpetite) are gone already. As I really hate all the disturbing ads for sponsorships, I was looking for alternatives and found http://ift.tt/2hPhMJj (or did the site found me?). Because I’m curious just about everything in the crypto scene I could not help myself and gave it a try and am not disappointed so far as I got two referrals in three days. BUT. Is it a great idea? Ok it could be a scam and the developers take the most sponsors for themselves (I think I would do that, I’m an asshole). Or will the queue line grow so long that you will never ever again in the front row. What’s your opinion? Is this the evolution on lending/referral programs? I really wish there was a alternative for advertising. It looks like 50% of posts are sponsorship ads and I want ev

Trouble with bittrex

Hi friends. I’m wondering if anyone can help me or has any suggestions. So I️ know a lot of people had been having trouble with bittrex and decided I️ wanted to move my funds in bittrex over to my Binance account. When I️ tried to withdraw it told me I️ needed basic verification in order to withdraw. When doing basic varification, I️ made a typo with date of birth and didn’t notice until I️ hit submit, then it instantly told me I️ didn’t match anyone from a Public database. It is telling me to go for the next level verification, where I️ upload documents, but I️ don’t want to do that yet because they won’t match the accidental info I️ put in, and I️ don’t want to get even more screwed. It won’t let me re-input my info, any suggestions? submitted by /u/mellifluousmind [link] [comments] Read More

Crypto-Traders making a Bank Run or What?

TLDR = Are people pulling out of crypto and into their bank account or perhaps leaving as cash on the exchange platform?? What I am seeing the the charts over the last few hours since the announcement of Tether getting hacked, is a market cap drop over all Cryptos, not just BTC. It's normally if BTC or the top 3 drop the top 25 alts go up and visa-versa, not this time. I'm just leaving my 60% BTC and 40% 10 alts mix where they are, and try to figure a better repositioning by morning time if the shit-storm is over and any of this can make sense. submitted by /u/Data_Geek [link] [comments] Read More

Supply-chain cryptos

Supply chain is a massive industry and an obvious immediate problem for blockchain to solve. Blockchain massively reduces costs, ensures integrity and creates immutable records. I want to see what other supply chain companies/tokens there are? I know of: Modum - Pharma supply chain - http://ift.tt/2xV4L2P Waltonchain - Clothing supply chain - http://ift.tt/2esv09n Ambrosus - food/medicine - http://ift.tt/2uRKvxJ I'm currently only invested in Modum as it's one of the lowest market caps and is actually entering the market Q1 2018. But are there any other projects that are good? I think a diversified portfolio across this industry is a good idea. submitted by /u/PJ83 [link] [comments] Read More

Warning: If you want to hedge against a Tether (USDT) implosion, long the ETH/BTC ratio.

ETH is the safe haven against a fraudulent Tether revelation. Always manage your risk. A Tether crash would cause massive BTC & BCH panic. Prepare yourself for the unexpected. Bittrex Needs Your Deposits More Than You Do

Many, many people who had Enhanced Verification accounts for many months, and who have made many deposits and withdrawals, have had the rug pulled out from under them with no warning. EV accounts in good standing get converted to New accounts with no verification after withdrawal attempt is made. Deposits are welcome at any time you like, but they can never leave. "Oh this is FUD! It's just KYC compliance!" Bullshit. We provided the documents, they were approved. MONTHS AGO. If it was actually KYC compliance, they wouldn't accept the deposits at all. An honest and solvent exchange with KYC concerns about a customer would at the very least notify the user after a deposit that "hey, you're not verified! stop depositing!" More realistically, they would lock the deposit/withdrawal page so that when you click deposit, you are not presented with a bitcoin address, you are presented with "hey, you're not verified, you can't deposit!" Contest Idea: 8 hour day trading with $100

Hey all! I posted this in /r/CryptoCurrency and got a suggestion from a mod to post it over here. Original Link Quick run down is, a little competition that you buy in for $5 btc/eth or whatever and it'll be a contest for 3-7 days (depending on what the best general consensus is) and whoever has the most profit wins! We can do tiered prizes for top 3 or whatever. Just a very early concept but it was a 'shower thought' I had last night. Can someone help me out with trading?

Hi! I've been following cryptocurrencies for 3 months. I've been trading for 2 months, and I haven't made any money. (I haven't lost any, either.)   I've had a string of experiences that led me to be very cautious: Wanting to test the waters, I bought $1000 worth of BTC when it was at 4,000. Literally the next day, BTC crashed to 3,000 (China). That was my first experience. Resisting the urge to deposit more money, I waited 2 long weeks for Bitcoin to rise back up to 4,000. Frustrated, I took the advice of a trading group and decided to trade my BTC for altcoins to try and build my account.   Literally the day after I bought the altcoins, they started plummeting. I watched as my coins dropped by 50% over the course of another 2 weeks, while Bitcoin skyrocketed nearly 50% from 4,000 to almost 6,000. Eventually I recovered from this loss, bringing my account back up to $1,000.   I deposited another $30,000 since then, and I've been day tradin

thoughts on an ICO?

I was looking at the ICO coming up, actually found it because it was getting done on Coss which I was invested in. the URL is https://dropdeck.io/ now I know ICOs as a general thing aren't usually very good at giving returns. However I have a reasonable amount of money currently invested in peer to peer sites and I feel like the social media aspect of crowdsourcing the due diligence actually seems like a decent idea. (the lack of transparency on due diligence with the companies you are loaning to has bitten people in the ass; like the ratesetter bad loans issue of a few months ago). Everything looks reasonable, from an ICO perspective and it does seem like their is an actual use for the blockchain, but I was wondering if anyone else has had a look at it and have any concerns which would keep them from investing submitted by /u/freddiegrover [link] [comments] Read More

Does trading on low volume exchange offer an advantage ?

I'm wondering if there are some advantages to trade on low volume exchanges, for example by placing order 10-20% off the market price in hope that someone buy or sell a large quantity at market price and getting a better price than high volume exchange that need why more volume to move price. Or on the opposite that tends to happen more on large exchange where there might be whales or stupid persons that make very large market order that reach price above for a few seconds. I think that it did happen to me sometimes on a large exchange, I've placed sell orders with some step above price, and it when trough even if I was never able to see that price as it went the seconds right after the trades. submitted by /u/ElucTheG33K [link] [comments] Read More

Confido - exit scam speculation

Since the subreddit is deleted, lets discuss here. Some facts: price fell 90%; subreddit, twitter, website, CEOs linkedin deleted. Before the whole shebang they tweeted about having some legal issues, without specifying what they are.
