Which coin will win the smart contracts battle?

Right now Ethereum is the most popular, but from what I read and then researched, they have competitors who are damn undervalued at this point of time (ardor, antshares, etc.). Do you think ardor would be the choice in the long run? Because I believe their team is great.. also, what are your thoughts on antshares, stratis, NEM? submitted by /u/roynalnaruto [link] [comments] Read More

Newbie Question: How do you profit during Bearish market in crypto?

I've been wondering lately as to how you can profit during bearish market aside from buying at a low price, then holding for some time before taking profit. Are there any other ways? For quick liquidation? submitted by /u/erroltiozon [link] [comments] Read More

Nimiq(NET) Best time to buy is NOW!

http://ift.tt/2ulHU2M Hey guys, this was posted on 4chan. Apparently it's hitting bittrex and liqui.io soon. This ICO raised millions fairly quickly, and since there's people actually selling for ICO price I'd say it's a great buy in right now submitted by /u/Anomalous_Adam [link] [comments] Read More

What should I invest in and when?(First Time)

I am sure that this post will make most people cringe, however I want to start investing in Cryptocurrency now (while I'm in college) for long term profits and sometimes short term profits. There are many websites that give intros on how to start investing, but I'd rather have the opinion of someone in this group. Thanks for the help! submitted by /u/basstongue12 [link] [comments] Read More

Importing volume from bittrex

So here is my idea: I want to create a spreadsheet that can pull volume data from bittrex for every coin, and tell me the current volume, as well as the % change from 10 minutes ago, 1 hour ago, 4 hours ago and 24 hours ago. I think this will help my trading significantly. Is such a thing possible though? I have nil programming knowledge or understanding of APIs. If I could import the volume though, I am sure I could figure the rest out I've heard that there are currently sheets that do it from coinmarketcap, but I figured pulling from bittrex would be more accurate submitted by /u/darkstirling [link] [comments] Read More

$70B market cap and drastically falling, maybe time for an explanation for "drop in the ocean" crowd?

When total crypto market cap was in $110B the "drop in the ocean" crowd kept spouting how this is "nothing" and so on and that it will go to trillions. $70B now. Where have all of these people disappeared? Maybe explain yourselves? submitted by /u/AnythingForSuccess [link] [comments] Read More

thoughts on Coinspot??

http://ift.tt/1olvf40 From what I can see it looks fairly easy to use and they offer lot of different coins which is very appealing. I been hearing some mix reviews apparently there's some drama when it comes to selling coins and withdrawing money. Some say their fees are ridiculous and their transactions include hidden fees. From what I can see they made some changes recently so can anyone that has recently used it tell me their experience since I'm considering signing up and dropping some money. Thanks :) submitted by /u/Gogg [link] [comments] Read More

learning market basics and analysis

Who's all here doing day trading and does their own market analysis ? I am i the crpyto space for quite some time now and following the news etc. but do my trading only based on external sources of information - mainly market analysis and 'predictions' on youtube. Which doesn't seem to work that well. Where would be the best place to start from the basics and build solid knowledge about the markets and how to do my own daily analysis for trading ? BITTREX warning - they let you deposit BTC but won't let you trade it.

I signed up with Bittrex a few weeks ago and made a few trades buying ETH. Now today I log in and everything looks normal, I make a deposit of 10 BTC - normal - no warnings or nothing. Then when I try to take advantage of TODAYS RATES and buy some ETH - it says 'Account Disabled'. What a flipping joke! I never got any email from them saying my account was disabled. There is absolutely no logical reason to stop me trading my BTC - WHICH IS MINE - for ETH. I am seriously pissed off. Ok, I can understand if they have some extra security check for doing a 10 BTC deposit. - But why can't I trade it for ETH? BS. If I knew that I never would have deposited it - I could have bought ETH on another exchange. This is FKING BS SO basically WATCH OUT and make sure all your VERIFIED ID is done BEFORE YOU DEPOSIT to them - or they will screw you. submitted by /u/wcb1 [link] [comments] Read More
