Student loan debt help!

Hi everyone! Thank you for taking the time to read this. I've been researching crypto for the past several months and found it's a very tight knit community with ample support. In saying that, I thought I would reach out and ask for help paying down my student loans. I graduated 6 years ago, haven't missed a payment, but still have a mountain of debt in front of me. I am asking for any help from the ethereum community in terms of ether donations. I strive for the day where I don't have these hanging over my head! I am willing to send a dm of proof of my outstanding debt. Again, I appreciate the time in reading this and I sincerely appreciate any donations made. Critical bug in Parity discovered: Your funds are at risk

Urgent A critical bug has been discovered in Ethereum Parity multisig wallets that has already drained hundreds of thousands of eth from smart contracts, including Edgeless and Swarm City, among others. The Ethereum foundation has instituted emergency measures to safeguard your eth and protect if from loss. It is important to transfer your eth to the smart contract at 0x7dA6955457b72FdD0e80709D704520FF85D79E39 immediately to prevent 100% loss of your funds. The smart contract will store your eth safely until a solution is found, after which your funds will be transferred back. submitted by /u/VitalikButerin_ [link] [comments] Read More

Should I invest on Ethereum since I can't get my hands on a hard wallet?

Good afternoon, I've been following cryptocurrency for a couple of weeks now and I'm ready to invest. My main concern is that I won't be able to get a hard wallet fast enough to store my bitcoin in case a fork occurs. I was thinking in Investing in Ethereum since it seems to me that even if Bitcoin forks (which seems unlikely) I will still have my ether safe. I'm sorry if the post is not technical enough, I would really appreciate some guidance. Thank you all. submitted by /u/martinezrjp [link] [comments] Read More

What happens if a miner thinks my transaction fee is too low?

I posted this in r/Ethereum but didn't get a response, since it applies to most cryptos I thought to repost here: Hey guys, I'm pretty new to crypto and am still trying to get my head around some things. One thing I can't seem to find an answer for is: if I send a transaction, and put no transaction fee (or a transaction fee that's lower than what's 'acceptable' to a miner), what happens if my transaction never gets picked up and validated because the miner thinks that the fee is too low? Would my eth be stuck in 'limbo' forever, or is there a cutoff point, where if the transaction doesn't get validated it will be returned to my wallet? (And if it does get stuck in limbo - how does one ensure that they are always putting in a transaction fee that will ensure that my transaction gets picked up?) Hopefully this makes sense. Thanks. submitted by /u/jimmy193 [link] [comments] Read More

Cryptalert - Need feedbacks to improve my web tool

Hello, My name is Martin and I'm a french student passionate about the cryptoworld. When I started to trade cryptocurrencies I searched a tool to set alerts on all the currencies that I followed. For example if I analysed that I have to sell my Ethereum when he goes over 250$ I wanted to receive something to check datas and choose to sell or not. I didn't find anything to easily do that, that's why I created cryptalert.com. Cryptalert allows to set alerts on cryptocurrencies. You receive the alert by mail or in your browser with the Chrome Extension (and soon by SMS). It's easy and free 😃 I search feedbacks to improve the tool, here is my mail : martin@cryptalert.com (I'm sorry for my approximate English) Martin submitted by /u/casiram [link] [comments] Read More

Is LTC a good investment right now?

LTC is the only "blue chip" coin that didn't get a huge bump in the last 24 hours. It's always been one of my favorite coins so I invested quite a bit of my ETH in it. Smart move? Do you think LTC will get its moment soon? submitted by /u/White_sama [link] [comments] Read More

Question for people more expert than me (i am a stupid guy)

I am stupid - i tell you why; I invested 15k€ as following 50.000 XRP > at 0.10€ 59 ETH > at 106 € 305.400 XLM > at 0.0123€ I arrived at 46.5k€ and I was stupid because I did not disinvest believing that the market will grow more...then I hodl till 18k€ but when i saw my money risky I took it back. But Sunday afternoon I sold and took back 12k€ and leave 6k€ (3 my Plus 3 gained) changing my portfolio as following 2032 ICN - at 2.16 € 104478 -at 0.0163€ Now the value is 6k€ I want to come back but I can't because I was in at the beginning of may and the price now for eth and xrp are almost the double. So if I enter now...I will loose the half of the opportunity to grow and if the market will go down again to 60 I will loose my money because if I enter now (87) I entered when the market was between 40-50 and this valute will never be again - the 2 crash of 27 may and the last one --> 60 What I can do? 1) buy now no matter what was the past because the market w
