Anyone have thoughts on Vertcoin (VTC)?

I see a lot of positives going for vertcoin, but not much talk about it. It's ASIC resistant, segwit activated, LN active on testnet, and has been around for a few years. Anyone have positive/negatives to say about the outlook for this crypto? submitted by /u/CryptoNerd [link] [comments] Read More

Response from Poloniex customer service about my IP being banned #useful

Hi, You may be temporarily blocked by Cloudflare if your API calls create many client errors (any HTTP 4xx code such as invalid nonce, insufficient balance, etc). Did you see any such errors before you were blocked? Please note that while re-trying a timed out call is fine, if you re-try an unanswered API call after less than 80 seconds with the same API key, the earlier call may still go through however its nonce value collides with the second call, causing an error 422. If your client already dropped the request, you would not actually see the error, but nonetheless it occurred. If you cause too many of these errors Cloudflare may temporarily block you. In terms of a solution this depends on your setup but I could suggest using a set of rotating API keys to avoid nonce errors, or use a time-out of 80 seconds or higher. Where to get started learning about the crypto market and what makes it move?

I'm very curious about the crypto market and I really want to dedicate some time learning about it. I have been playing around with XRP, ETH, BTC and doubled my small €200 investment in the last week. But I don't have any idea on what makes the market go up and down. Where do I start learning and doing research? submitted by /u/SparkDe [link] [comments] Read More

Day 4 - Sharing all my trades

Daily Realized Gain/Loss: -.61% BTC / +2.54% USD Performance since inception (4/6/17): +60.79% BTC / +166.35% USD Current BTC equivalent balance: 6.713124 Strategy Profitability: Wins Rate = 48.0% / Loss Rate = 52.0% Average Win = +33.60% / Avg Loss = -20.92 % Today's Purchases: Clams, FlorinCoin, Gridcoin, Viacoin, Bitmark, Riecoin, Bitcrystals Today's Sells: Clams, Primecoin Summary: It’s interesting to note that I can have a daily realized loss (-.61% BTC) and still make money against the dollar (+2.54% USD). The 90's dotcom era didn’t even have this benefit. It’s easy to feel euphoric when waking up day after day watching your portfolio increase with little effort, but you have to resist the emotion. Emotion leads to dumb trading. I increased my daily trading capital by ~15% pulling funds from my realized BTC gains. To be clear, I’m not adding any additional personal capital but rather using the house’s money. As a final note, I realized that cointrac

Market with CYPTO+ETH tokens with metatrader support or at least multiple order types ?

Hi guys, I'm looking for a broker/exchange that allows trading on most crypto currencies (ex : the ones on poloniex !) and that offer either: trading with metatrader so that I can use scripts to manage my stop loss orders automatically as well as take profit or trailing stops etc... trading with their interface, BUT still having the possibility to use trailing stops, take profit, etc.. I am trying the 30d trial of coinigy but it seems they don't allow a lot of options regarding the different order types.. I have an account at fxOpen but they only allow ETH/LTC/BTC trading. I have an account on btc-e but same thing, the list of pairs is very limited compared to poloniex Any idea guys ? Thx ! submitted by /u/ritonlajoie [link] [comments] Read More
