What's one feature you wish CoinMarketCap had?

How do exchanges enforce leveraged bets in a decentralized environment?

I am wondering how markets that offer leverage on trades (e.g. BitMex) enforce payments through leverage if they do not take any personal information. submitted by /u/FizzBuzzWhiz [link] [comments] Read More

Atomic swaps are the future. I'm glad Bitcoin finally did one with Litecoin. Vertcoin and Litecoin did one successfully 2 months ago. Same with Decred.

I'm trying to find information on the historical returns of coins that were added to Bittrex

Does anyone have any insight into the typical returns on coins added into Bittrex overtime. Does it seem like a high percentage of alt coins pump out the gate and continually depreciate or would a buy and hodl strategy work well for coins that get listed? submitted by /u/coltonmusic15 [link] [comments] Read More

Yobit is a scam. Changelly too?

Recently I came into some crypto money and I wanted to exchange it. As I was new to this, I made some experiments and learned by trial and error. First I tried Yobit. I have deposited a small amount of money to the address they gave me. Etherscan showed many block confirmations within minutes. It's been more than two weeks now, and no sign of my money. Support doesn't respond. Looking back, not a big surprise given that it's a shady Russian site. They have a nice little show going, complete with live chat, but no substance. Then I tried another site, Changelly. It looks legit with Forbes mentions and whatnot, but guess what? The outcome is exactly the same, only there was a response from support: We have forwarded your question to the technical department. They will investigate the matter and contact you as soon as possible. Once your issue is resolved, you will be informed! That was two weeks ago and I followed with another email, radio silence this time. Investiga

any guides out there on correcting cointracking.info prices after frequent trades?

so as an example, i purchased lisk at 4.50 and sold some at a peak followed by buying back in after another dip. my cost per unit is now an average of my investment which is annoying considering its not accurate. can anyone recommend a tutorial or video which explains how to edit these numbers? I also bought into antshare at $8 which has been frustrating to track since they re-branded as neo. bittrex still pulls over my antshare history and assumes i bought into neo at $12 even thought i haven't traded my antshare/neo since i originally purchased it. any help will be greatly appreciated. i tried altering the spreadsheet before uploading to cointracking.info but didnt have any luck as neo wasnt even listed on the document. thank you for your time and consideration. submitted by /u/murfman713 [link] [comments] Read More

[Day Trading] Need seasoned traders to give opinions on my technique and give some tips as to how to get better.

Hello everyone! I will explain first my method and then a little history of the last days. So my method is to put less weight on the longer term direction of the coin(s) and more on the current fluctuations. I find the median fluctuation of the coin, put a 2%+/- mark and observe if the coin's fluctuation passes that mark a few times a day. If it does, my target is to hit that mark twice in a day, meaning i will earn 4% a day of my investment. Example: a coin is at 1200$ and fluctuates 100$ up and down 4-5 times a day. I aim to buy at 1170$ and sell at 1230$ twice a day. Crudely this is pretty much what im doing. Is this method right? Any opinions and tips as how to improve it are welcome. Now a little history follows, not important but will give you a little feedback. Im new to trading so i might miss a whole lot of points. I got into trading last Saturday when that BCH event was unfolding. Got lucky and made around 25% my initial investment (we're talking low end assets here,

Let’s talk Ripple / XRP for a minute..

Now before you skip the text below and immediately go on a tantrum, realize I have a diverse portfolio and understand very well why people go for other projects than Ripple. However.. The sheer stupidity on here sometimes is mind blowing. There’s a ton of people on the crypto subs who completely fail to realize that with 99% of the current projects, you’re betting your money on a company’s potential based on their ‘white paper and team’. That’s it. Calling most of them a company would be a huge overstatement too. Not investing in XRP because “companies won’t use the token” is so naive that it causes me physical pain to read. Again, you’re betting on potential. How could you possibly think a group of random teenagers with no social or business skills and experience creating yet another ERC20 token that has no use has more potential than XRP? A US based company with an amazing team and investors and partners that go far beyond most blockchain companies will probably ever work with

$RCN (Ripio Credit Network) is a great buy at this lvl and here is why

http://ift.tt/2hvwnWn $RCN (Ripio Credit Network) is a great buy at this lvl. Working product, transparent, both Stoch RSI and RSI oversold on 1 hour candle, WT Osc indicator at the bottom.
