Example: I use 1BTC to buy 100XXX. I update BTC holdings to "sell 1BTC" I update XXX holdings to "buy 100XXX" Right now this is how I do it, but I feel stupid. Hi! I've just recently began trading cryptocurrencies, and as the www holds much of information, I started very small (o.o2 BTC). Luckily for me, a coin can go lower than 3 decimal points :). Poloniex. Stay away, stay away as a plague. Why? Carry on reading. First, I got my BTC bought, transfered that to Poloniex. No big deal, went through fairly quick. Then I bought some ETH, sent that to my ether wallet, and this is very things started to get suspicious. Txid is not valid, non existant. Ammount wasn't much, was only 0.022 ETH, received it 0.018. So, a logical assumption is there is a withdrawal fee, right? Correct, but not as user friendly as I would expect. On the withdraw page, where you click the currency, you get a notification about the fees. ETH fee is a flat 0.005 ETH, which is again, fine by me. I don't like the fact the fees aren't mentioned in the Fee section. Weird, but ok, lets move on to the real virus. Trading with Poloniex is something I will never a

No matter where I look every exchange seems to have: Support problems (unanswered tickets for days) Withdrawal problems (have to wait a long time for withdrawals) Verification delays (wait a long time to get "verified") Am I the only person who notices this? I've switched so many exchanges. The ones that have the best customer service and overall service are the ones that close up in a few months. The ones that remain are the worst businesses ever. Title says it all - I'm honestly perplexed by the fact CoinMarketCap doesn't have a standalone desktop app (and also, the fact that they aren't live and need refreshing.) About the time that I got into crypto currencies, I was looking for a new development hobby project and decided to make one around crypto currencies. I've been spending my evenings making HodlBot, which is a Telegram Bot that checks current crypto coin prices through cryptocompare and allows you to set up a watch on various coins.   HodlBot is free and available here if you wish to try it out.
