Beginner question about wallets

I always hear everyone talking about how I should not be keeping my coins in Coinbase or Bittrex, so I decided to download Exodus. However, I have some altcoins that Exodus does not support. Is there a wallet service that contains most cryptocurrency, or do you guys just have separate wallets for separate cryptocurrencies? And if so, how do you guys manage and keep track of all those different wallets? Thanks! submitted by /u/sergeantloser [link] [comments] Read More

Bitcoin Correction? If ever?

I'm a bit bit of a crypto noob, I've been disconnected from technology got a few days and have come back to BTC trying to make it to mars. What's the sentiment on when/how much a correction will happen? I've been watching it today since $3500 and I'm getting FOMO and having a hard time deciding what to do. Thanks in advance for the opinions! submitted by /u/GratefulShag [link] [comments] Read More

BitSE Launches Blockchain-Based VeChain Platform, Teams Up With PwC

Shanghai-based Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) company, BitSE, is opening possibilities for every industry with the official launch of VeChain, a cloud product management platform built on a blockchain, at a recent event in Shanghai. Due to a shared interest in expanding the use of blockchain technologies, BitSE is collaborating with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to boost blockchain adoption in the Asian Pacific markets, with the goal to help their clients design and implement innovative blockchain solutions. VeChain focuses on four areas: anti-counterfeiting, supply chain management, asset management and client experiences. By putting unique IDs on the blockchain and embedding each product with an NFC (Near Field Communication) chip, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tag or QR (Quick Response) code, all of which can verify whether an item is genuine or not, VeChain provides an opportunity for different enterprises to easily create, manage, maintain and update shared data. ** 10 TIMES YOUR INVESTMENT **

If you've stumbled upon this post, you're welcome. Take this advice and you too can be a happy, wealthy man like myself in due time. In the stock market we refer to doubling our money as a 2 bagger, tripling your money is a 3 bagger. I think Vertcoin/VTC at its current price is a 10+ bagger, here is why. VTC is essentially a Litecoin clone, they will have in total 84 Million coins created - just like Litecoin. VTC has segwit - just like Litecoin and what Bitcoin just recently implemented. VTC is working with Litecoin on a technology called "atomic swap", which allows for the trading of one currency to another straight from your wallet without the need of a third party. Bitcoin is also said to be working on such a technology. Bitcoin Market cap = 45+ Billion Litecoin Market cap = 2.24 Billion Vertcoin Market cap = 20.4 Million. Yes, despite the striking similarities and active development team (they just released a brand new, slick looking website on 8/2/2017) Vertcoi

I have about $25k to invest into Crypto. What would you suggest?

I have been in Bitcoin and Ether for a bit, but I'm looking to diversify, so I plan to sell everything back into Bitcoin and spread out. NEO makes me nervous, anytime a coin shoots up really fast it seems like it's destined to crash. Plus, as a rule I don't trust much coming out of China. So, excluding NEO, what do you think I should do? submitted by /u/ATMGHOST [link] [comments] Read More

Fingerprint Verification credit card investment

Hi all, I'm a long time lurker on reddit and have happily been involved in crypto for a few years now. As many long term hodlers are likely doing, I've been looking for ways to diversify my growing assets while keeping exposure to the blooming cryptocurrency field. I like many of you am completely bullish on the technology. There is a small stock trading over the counter SmartMetrics (SMME:OTCQB) which may be the first in the world to develop a card looks exactly like a credit card except it needs fingerprint verification before use. 1) They have been on the radar of Visa and Mastercard for years as they successfully fought off a lawsuit brought on them by Visa and Mastercard (link below) 2) They recently completed the card technology (over a decade in the works) but have not yet seem significant movement in their share price, they are currently working on a new video to showcase the product. You will notice that one of the links on their website are locked due to a NDA. 3

Who wants to build a de-centralized crypto exchange with me?

I have 10 years of development experience and 5 years of trading experience. I was originally building a centralized crypto exchange, with focus on speed to support high-frequency trading. I'm more than halfway done with it, but it seems like a good time to pivot and get ahead of the market by making it de-centralized using state channels. What this means for the end user is that they will not even need to trust the exchange with their coins in order to trade on it. I'm looking for another developer to become a co-founder. You should have - strong background in C# or C++ - understanding of how trading and exchanges work - enough time that you can dedicate so that we can finish it and launch it in 3-6 months. submitted by /u/bkminer99 [link] [comments] Read More

Exchange Promotions

I mainly trade using Bittrex. I've noticed that when Bittrex sponsors a particular coin (NEO, CVC, QTUM, ADX, etc.) massive volume moves in and the price spikes. I am starting to think these promotions may be one of the most accurate sponsors for a huge price gain in that coin. Anyone else have similar observations? submitted by /u/mandlehandle [link] [comments] Read More

Changelly transactions getting stuck

It's been almost 12 hours since I made my transaction to buy XRP with ETH.. ...still in the "Exchanging" step. After a couple of hours the site informed there were tech problems. Already opened a case and tried to reach them but so far I had no answer rather than the automated response when I opened a support ticket. Considering the price volatibility for all coins this is unnaceptable. I understand the site can be overloaded with exchange orders but they should be more responsible with other peoples money at stake. At least they could put a threshold on their order throughput if their servers can't handle the orders and definitively have a "return my money" button after certain time so users can decide what to do when our coins are in the limbo.. Is anyone experiencing problems too? submitted by /u/falafero [link] [comments] Read More

Has anyone looked at ICO for ITT trading AI?

This could be an interesting project that would allow to profit from market volatility. One of my friends has been trading using their BETA quite successfully, apparently. Their token sale next week has a USD 4.2 million cap. Similar projects are CryptoPing, as well as Rialto and Santiment. However, these had much larger caps in the tens of millions. ITT is machine learning / AI for trade alerts and a possibly a quant fund down the road. Also working on API integration to hook up your own trade bots. They have a very solid team (ex JPMorgan and Google), just seems that they have not marketed it much. What do you guys think?
