Question about exchanges

Hi friends. I️ asked a question last night and got some super helpful answers, I️ really appreciate how helpful this community is for someone asking dum questions like me! Anyway, I️ had another question I️ wanted to ask. So I’ve determined that I️ am going to use Binance to buy my Iota, and possibly to exchange all of my crypto. However as they do not accept US dollars, so I️ have to buy btc or eth on another exchange to then use that to buy the iota. People kept saying use bitcoin, but I️ want to use eth for that because I️ see it as a little more stable. Anyway, what would be the best exchange for that? I️ was going to use coinbase but I️ heard they aren’t super reliable? And I️ think kraken only does bitcoin? Additionally, when holding my iota or other crypto, can I just hold it on the Binance site or is it recommended to put it in a wallet (I️ want to be able to access to trade it pretty quickly). If a wallet is the best bet and would still allow me pretty quick access and moveme

Anyone Using Meta Trader 5 for Bitcoin Bot Trading?

Hello, I'm starting to go through a online training class I picked up cheap from Udemy, and the trading platform being used is Meta Trader, the end goal is to get a 'bullet proof' formula in place running on a Bot that's trading Bitcoin. Who else is doing this with Meta Trader or another client tool? Thanks submitted by /u/Data_Geek [link] [comments] Read More

Buy alts now or wait?

Should I be buying alts right now? Will they continue to grow since they now have a clear path after the fork being suspended? Or will they take a dip soonish? I am planning on holding so I don't want to miss out if they continue to rise... Asia wakes up soon. What do you guys think? submitted by /u/EuphoricTrees [link] [comments] Read More

The Bitcoin Legacy vs Bitcoin Cash war, unnecessary?

I see daily posts about the civil war Bitcoin Cash has with Bitcoin Legacy currently. And I don't really get why they can't be best friends. Let me explain. Lets say we see Bitcoin Legacy as a commodity, like gold and silver. It has all of the good properties of gold and turns it into a digital format. Using bitcoin as a reserve currency in the same way that gold is used makes it a much more convenient store of value. Lets say we get 5% of the current gold market and bitcoin legacy could act this way it would be worth 100k+ per coin. Now for the Bitcoin Cash side. Because of the bigger blocks its great for using as a payment system as Bitcoin Legacy was originally designed to do (right?) and its already adopted amongst some people in the community and big company's for exactly this reason. So TL:DR Why can't we use Bitcoin Legacy as a store of value and Bitcoin Cash as a method of payment? Also I have no dog in this civil war, im casually holding some bitcoins and

Anyone Know where I can buy Futures on BX2 Coin?

Just kidding. I'm pleased that it's cancelled, should have been much sooner. Wish I had moved a portion of my BTC out into the Alts the other day. Wondering when will be a good time to buy into the top alts again. submitted by /u/Data_Geek [link] [comments] Read More

So what about Bitcoin Gold (BTG) now?

I've picked up some negativity about BTG, like it's a failure, it's not even out there as a split usable coin, only in the futures market. Look at how well the market cap and price is on Bitcoin Cash. Looking forward to getting it and and going long. Thoughts and perspectives on BTG anyone? submitted by /u/Data_Geek [link] [comments] Read More

Bitcoin still rooms to go up. Not done yet.

This Bitcoin rally may be volatility, but rally may not done yet. Attempt to charge toward $9000 will be the target. Here is my hypothesis on funds. They going to accumulate underlying Bitcoin as asset. Doesn't matter if it goes down since they sure always make a come back. Then, they hedge against their holding when ready with Futures and Options spread take then eroded premium while leave the holding Bitcoin untouch. Bitcoins demand will remain high for these few months. Spill over will benefit Bitcoin Cash big time. submitted by /u/wowlwowlwow [link] [comments] Read More

Think I'm going to shift away from BTC to another crypto. What's your pick?

I've been thinking and planning to trade my BTC for other cryptocurrencies before segwit2x would kick in. Now that that's out the books, I'm still thinking to shift currencies. BTC might become too popular by the greater public and I'd like to invest in something new. Price analysis of GRS before and after the B2X fork

Here is my opinion on GRS value before and after the B2X fork: GRS will steadily increase to its ATH starting from 9th Nov, 2017; and after the Nov. fork (until the end of Dec) the price will skyrocket to 5 to 10 USD levels and beyond. Here are the few of the many reasons for my claim: On 9th Nov, 2017; Korean exchange upbit will allow new subscribers to its exchange. https://twitter.com/UPbitExchange/status/926253055288504320 . Since 1st Nov, 2017; they had halted registration of new subscribers due to their server overload due to enormous public interest for registration. In the 1st week of their launch they already became the 2nd largest domestic exchange in Korea surpassing Coinone and Korbit (largest domestic exchange being Bithumb) http://ift.tt/2Al1T0I . It is to be noted that upbit is first altcoin exchange in Korea which is run by kakao talk (a messenger like whatsapp used by 95% of korean people). People trust Kakao talk’s products (unlike Bithumb which was hacked previo

Price of Vertcoin before and after the B2X fork

ASIC mining has been concentrated into relatively centralized data centers operated by professionals which makes it less decentralized consensus. Instead of any random person, using a relatively powerful computer, you are dependent upon only people who are advanced enough to operate specialized ASIC hardware and who buy it from handful of companies that can distribute the hardware however they please and to some extent for whatever price they please coz the demand is high. Hence, we need those coins whose algorithm shows “resistance” to ASIC hardware and the only coin who is extremely committed to remain ASIC resistance is Vertcoin. The reason is that it has not only memory intensive algorithm (Lyra2Rev2) which makes it particularly difficult to develop an ASIC in the future but it has proved in the past (by hard forking) that if someone tried to make ASICs for vertcoin; it will hard fork to remain ASIC resistant and hence “the people’s coin. http://ift.tt/2gMkOdC . Exchanges for Iota?

Hi guys, this is my first post so I do apologize for the noob question. I want to buy Iota, but with bitfinex pulling out of the US there are not really any exchanges/wallets that offer Iota for the US- is my best bet to use Binance to buy the IOTA with something like ETH? Second question would be how do I get the ETH into my Binance wallet, because it looks like they only do crypto and you cannot buy with US dollars? Is there an easier way to buy IOTA that would offer more liquidity? submitted by /u/mellifluousmind [link] [comments] Read More

I just sold all my Bitcoin

After a year of trading I’ve made good money, life changing stuff. I’ve quit work, I’ve travelled and I trade full time. Last week I sold all my alts apart from XMR, Komodo and Maid into BTC. Over 90% of my portfolio locked up in our flagship coin. I’m spooked though, anything can happen with the fork, Tether is looking suspect and BitConnect is a clear Ponzi scheme. It feels like a house of cards ready to crash at any point. I’m a trader, I’m not a gambler. Right now it is too hard to trade, nobody knows what the fuck will happen, anything can. I’ve sold the lot. My view is this, if the price crashes I don’t lose anything. If the price rallies I don’t lose anything. There are always new trades to make and I’ll be looking once the fork settles and we know where we are. It’s been a great year but I am now stress free. I’m not checking prices every 5 minutes and I can go to sleep without the fear of checking prices in the morning. I hope Bitcoin goes from strength to strength and

Ethereum have unlimited supply. thoughts..

I just read that Eth have no limit yet and a total already coins almost 5x compared to bitcoin. So there is a big difference for eth to grow price from 300$ to 3k, if the coins are still added by mining. I am right? submitted by /u/mikewill12inc [link] [comments] Read More
