So the concensus is that we are currently in the 4th Crypto bubble since 2009. Historically, they have popped within a month of the last period of 10x growth. This is certainly not predictive, as there is almost no correlations to the "pop" events and the market at large. Most of these were just random events that collapsed the market. The good news is that they have typically recovered within 3 years of deflating. If I had to guess, I'd say the next likely stress point would be either CME volume overstressing the market, or another exchange collapse (my bet is BitFinex). Last night I attempted to buy 1 ETH through the Coinbase iOS app. After the final confirmation dialog, I got a message saying the transaction couldn't be completed. Later on I tried another transaction... this time 2 LTC. That was successful. Recieved a confirmation email and a few minutes later, the LTC appeared in my account. This monrning, I logged into coinbase on my computer and noticed that the failed transaction is now pending. WTF? so, I emailed customer support explaining the situation: " I tried to make a purchase yesterday of 1 ETH. I went through all the prompts and after the final confirmation prompt I got the message "something went wrong" and my transaction couldn't be completed. I went on later to make a successful buy of a different currency. This morning, when I logged in, the unsuccessful transaction is now showing up as pending. I work from home and generally monitor the market throughout the day and have thought about setting aside 10% of my portfolio to trade between some of the main cryptos. Thinking just BTC/ETH to start with. I'm not greedy and only looking to increase what I trade by couple percent each week as that seems doable. Guys, have you ever traded something you don't believe in or that you have moral objections to? For me, personally, I'm conflicted about Powerledger (POWR). I'm sure there's great upside potential, but on the other hand, it's all about this sustainable development nonsense, and some people on the team seem like SJWs. I'm all for innovation and renewable energy and all that, but to me, it's obvious that the UN's sustainable development movement is more about monopolizing and rationing energy production than it is about actually improving it. Knowing the absolute carnage "sustainable development" has caused in Sub-Saharan Africa, the eugenics history of environmental conservationism, and the downright evil people running all these "sustainable" UN NGOs, it's just not something I can stand behind.
