Future of IOTA is bright

The questions we should be asking on the BTC AND ETHERIUN NETWORKS is: In this day and age why should we have to mine the coins? Isn't that just insane? so ask yourself this: Why do we need to pay a transaction cost at all? Why should you have to wait for an hour to have you transaction processed in this digital age? Why is there a lower limit to the size of digital transactions? Wouldn't it make a lot more sense just to have the coins so there's no production (mining cost)? wouldn't it make a lot more sense to have 100% transactions and zero added costs? Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to have the transaction cleared in a few seconds? Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to be able to transact any minuscule value you wanted to trade? What I'm asking you as an investor is, if there's a reason to keep paying all these needless overhead costs and limits, as an investor I'd love to hear them because if they could be entirely eliminated wouldn't

ARIMA-GARCH Cryptocurrency Trend Projections

I want to be scientific in my cryptocurrency trades. The main thing is to get the baseline projection (BP) as accurate as you can, and then do sell bids at 20% over BP, and buy bids at 20% under BP, or use some other arbitrary percentage number besides 20%. Not really understanding the math yet, I could make these observations: the moving trend -- you can back up to a macro level on the year and sort of almost see where things are going by the angle on the chart the causal trend -- you can line up weekends from a prior year and see events like holidays and paycheck schedules and how they may show patterns each month that you can influence a given projection This is where I began my journey: http://ift.tt/1XLWdDg This led to: http://ift.tt/2tbPueS which led to: http://ift.tt/1eQRato <-- ARIMA http://ift.tt/1Kl856d <-- GARCH Unfortunately, I don't yet know Calculus or Statistics to be able to read those. So, here's my question. Does someone already have an

A Boring Investor’s Guide to Cryptocurrency Investing

“If investing is entertaining, if you’re having fun, you’re probably not making any money. Good investing is boring.” ◤INVESTING Talking about lambos, yachts, and moon-cheese is fun, but it probably won’t make you any money. What will make you money is thinking about investments like a good investor. Get exclusive analysis of bitcoin and learn from our trading tutorials. Join Hacked.com for just $39 now. When I say, good investor, I don’t mean day-traders or swing-traders. There are a few consistently profitable day-traders out there but they are rare, even more scarce when you consider those with sustainable profits over extended periods of time. When I say good investors I don’t mean people who’ve had a good year in a bull market. When I say good investors, I’m talking about individuals who ask certain questions. Asking certain questions can lead to investments that perform consistently well, sometimes over multiple decades. According to BCG (Boston Consulting Group), “ from 2

Bitcoin fork and Segwit2x

Good evening, I have joined the crypto world in the past month therefore i'm fairly inexperienced and have a few questions. What is segwit2x? How will it effect BTC mining? What will happen to BTC and Altcoin prices pre/post August 1st? submitted by /u/HaydenTaylorrr [link] [comments] Read More

For a healthier cryptocurrency market, alts should decouple from bitcoin price.

Most coins rise and fall in value with bitcoin. This is mostly because most altcoins trade only for bitcoin. However, if bitcoin is facing a problem (like the upcoming potential chain split and the scaling issues) that is a fundamental flaw with bitcoin, and many of the altcoins are not flawed in the same way and therefore have no reason to drop in value alongside bitcoin. In fact, some of them could act as a good alternative to bitcoin and should therefore rise in value, not drop. One way to prevent the prices of altcoins to be tied to bitcoin is by asking exchanges to more currency trading pairs, such as Ethereum to altcoins, or Dash to altcoins, or any other coin that is widely used, has a large market cap and trading volume and has a strong track record. If exchanges offer other options than just bitcoin to alts, and those options get used, then altcoins can decouple from the bitcoin price and their value would be determined by their own fundamentals and not that of bitcoin. What data do you look at and what methods do you use to analyze it?

I just finished a stats class and I found all the different concepts really interesting. I barely have an understanding, ANOVA has me all confused, but it got me thinking that there is probably some really fun and interesting ways to interrupt all the data available on different currencies. For example there are a ton of charts on Kraken, how can newbies use those charts to better understand the markets. What methods and tools do you use to look at the data, for instance are regression lines useful. Are there anything newbies can do to better understand how these currency will act day to day. Really interested in the Data nerd type information more so then how to make a quick buck. submitted by /u/d-O_j_O-P [link] [comments] Read More

Beyond the void game has green light for Steam, good time to buy Nexium cheap?

Steam green light + low market cap compared to Augmentors Databits. Good time to buy? Value proposition Nexium is the token used in an upcoming video game called Beyond The Void. 100,000,000 Nexiums were created on the Ethereum blockchain using a smart contract (the amount is fixed and they can't be mined). Out of that, 70% are set apart for the backers & exchanged for Ethers, 15% will be used for bounties & promotions, and 15% will be kept for developers. 5M were sold during the presale last June. Once the crowdsale is over, all unsold Nexiums will be burned. You can spend Nexiums you bought on their in-game shop, and you can trade them too. Every time a newly created item is sold on the market, they will burn half of the Nexiums they received for the transaction. This way, the Nexium scarcity is sure to increase over time. submitted by /u/usamaster [link] [comments] Read More
