Trustless contracting is gonna be huge in crypto. Security and reliability must be achieved without compromising decentralization.

http://ift.tt/2yufntN Crypto will go mainstream only if it is reliable, but crypto has no interest if it looses its decentralization so middlemen must be avoided at all costs. I think projects like Bitbay that provides fully decentralized trustless contracting and marketplace platforms will be huge. I expect huge ROIs from such projects in the coming years. Just like privacy coins witnessed a huge growth because of the need of it, trustless contracting has an even bigger importance and potential imo. submitted by /u/Mantrack [link] [comments] Read More

ETP Metaverse: We are on the rise again http://ift.tt/2xYgPFC

Guys, good news incoming! Metaverse stopped its dip that hold for the last two days and is climbing now in a stable manner. It just came from its low, every time a step higher. We got some strong support at 4.80 level and it is not very probable that we are going to break this. Within the next 12 hours I predict a a strong rise to 5.80, maybe even to 6.00 and ETP will stabelize around 5.5/5.4 There was no mayor issue, besides some panic selling. On the other hand, there are too many great things for metaverse happening right now, e.g. Money 20 20 in las vegas. And we aspect the listing on hitbtc this week. Furthermore you will be able to see some stress reactions, once we get back to 5.20. Those who sold below that level will most likely want to join back in. for Those how buy now or bought even below 5.00, this should be an awesome night ;) Opinions? submitted by /u/palass1234 [link] [comments] Read More

SegWit2x Lead Mike Belshe: ‘Things Are Looking Good’ for Bitcoin Hard Fork

BitGo chief executive and SegWit2x project lead Mike Belshe says that, despite contention within the bitcoin community related to the block size debate, “things are looking good” for the SegWit2x hard fork. Bitcoin is now approximately one month out from the scheduled date for the activation of SegWit2x, a controversial hard fork intended to increase the blocksize to improve the network’s scalability. 5 Reasons People Oppose Segwit2x

5 Reasons People Oppose Segwit2x It's pretty mind boggling that many people in the Bitcoin community would rather split the blockchain and the community in order to prevent a measly blocksize increase to 2mb. While the "official" reason for opposing such an increase is that 2mb blocks are unsafe or will cause centralization, this reason is 100% bullshit. What follows are five reasons that are probably much closer to the truth. 1) Conflicts of interest. ... Japans largest exchange seems to be hoarding Lisk!

Coincheck.com appears to be collecting massive amounts of Lisk over the past week to the point that, as of today, they are the largest holder of Lisk in a single wallet. More than both Bittrex and Polo - http://ift.tt/2gtGCKk I can speculate they are anticipating an event in the near future that will create a buying frenzy. As we are aware, the Lisk just recently team did a major Asia tour. Perhaps this was more successful than we realize. Reposted from /r/lisk submitted by /u/kennards [link] [comments] Read More
