Hello traders and hodlers, I'm creating a long-term portfolio with the intention of hodl'ing all coins within. I have a little more research to do before finalising it, but essentially I really align with and support the projects behind each of the coins I've chosen and foresee a possibility they could each go big. Apart from Bitcoin. I KNOW that it's going to the moon right now. I KNOW that it's becoming known as a 'gold standard' crypto and I don't see it ever going away. I support what it represents as the first big crypto, but I don't find it as exciting as the other projects I'm wanting to invest in. So i went to invest in Yoyow for the initial spike, and created a new account on bitshares.com. Once i transferred my money in i saw that it was impossible for me to withdraw the 0.0201 BTC because the fee to withdraw was .022 BTC. i worried for a while but i decided that it must just be a bug. So i bought YOYOW anyway, and when i try to trade it back for BTC/BTS or any other ones, it comes up with "insufficient funds" next to the fee (no price on the fee, just insufficient funds). I'm currently holding LTC (35%), BTC (22%), XRP (20%), ETH (8%) and OMG (15%). There's no real rhyme or reason to this, other than I like/believe in the things which I have bought. From an investment perspective, I'm interested in diversifying and keen to hear your rules or what informs the decisions you made. My friend sent me a link to these guys. They're creating a new altcoin exchange, which seems cool to me since I don't like most of the current ones on the market (outside of Bittrex - I'll trade on Bittrex if I have the choice 10 times out of 10) AND they're promising ACTUAL customer support (looking at you poloniex >.>). I didn't know if anyone had any information on these guys or if anybody else has heard of them already. Hi everyone, I bought my first bitcoin a few years ago, I bought pizzas with it, other stuff (ahem) and I have never really intended to invest "for real" on cryptos until a few months ago. Then, I bought some waves in 2016, bitshares, omg, neo, navcoin and the list could keep going. Currently, I'm really into reading about cryptos, the tech, the blockchain, the internet of things even though I don't have all the skills to understand everything. A well known financial magazine in Germany has published an article about crypto currency complaints in the US. The complaints are registered by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and states that the most of the complaints in 2017 are against Coinbase. The key facts in the article are: In 2017 the CFPB has received more than 250 complaints in the section "crypto currencies". In 2016 there were only 6 complaints about Coinbase. In 2017 the number of complaints about Coinbase raised to 60% of all complaints the CFPB received. One third of all complaints come from single persons and not companies. On many of the youtube crypto news shows this past 48 hours they have ben talking about Golem going into a meting son with Omisego. Ive contacted Yobit over a week ago now via there ticket system about my "in process" withdrawal for about 1.5 ethereum. Ive been able to move LItecoin, Dash, BTC easily and withdraw those. They will not respond to me about my eth withdrawal though. I also messaged them months ago about Pivx but that remained unanswered indefinitely. Is there an email or means of communication that they respond to? I tried to send them message on twitter too. Is there any way I can stop or cancel the Ethereum request for that 1.495 of eth?
