Can we get an updated list of the best exchanges?
This is an incredibly young and rapidly evolving space, so It seems every other day I hear something different about which exchange to use, or the advantages one exchange has over another. I would love to hear your thoughts on the exchang(es) you like to use, and why.
Here is my general (and admittedly limited) understanding of some of the big ones:
Coinbase
+ easy to use and set up, gdax is a friendly interface
+ seem to be fewer problems withdrawing money than other exchanges
- tends to go down during traffic spikes
- limited to BTC/ETH/LTC
- randomly shutting down accounts/customer service
Poloniex
- lots of complaints about withdrawing money
Kraken
+ seem to be fewer problems withdrawing
- slow to get verified
- outdated interface
- interface is slow and goes down from time to time
Bitfinex
+ nice interface
- seem to be withdrawing problems
- customer service
Liqui
+ easy to use
- can't withdraw fiat currency
- seem to be problems withdrawing currency sometimes
What are your thoughts? (I will update the list above accordingly based on the responses)
