NYC based ICO - RECRUITING Dev Team ASAP - Seek: programmers, ICO-experience, VC's

Goal? To potentially have a stake and likely financial gains from the 25-30% of the cryptocurrency market as China backs out. It is doable, and scalable, but needs rapid moves. Please apply quickly, recruiting immediately. So big changes are going on there, we won't know for sure until the wording on the legislature is more formal and finalized. But if they start to be blocked, they will lose out on opportunities and require our help if they wish to circumvent restrictions and still invest, build business, move funds, etc. This leads me to a number of lucrative and brilliant ideas for businesses and ironically, more ICOs. I have a few ideas how we can allow the Chinese to invest and continue to grow/prosper and include us in the mix. We can shift operations away from regulatory eyes and everyone wins. I need people with experience in ICO launch and coding/development. Pending wording of these Chinese regulations I have one idea that needs ASAP attention! ***** This entails no

Genuine Question: Litecoin

Why are more people not on the litecoin train? It honestly seems like better tech. Lower fees/faster. Which coins that you are invested in do you think will be dead(ish) in 10 years?

I see a lot of "which coins do you think will be big" which just turns into shill posting; that makes sense you think the ones you invest in will be big otherwise you wouldn't invest! What about short term returns? I have one: condensate. It has good staking returns, and i've already made about 600% profit but the premise of the coin is a little odd and specific so I don't see it surviving more than a few years without major changes. It is designed to facilitate easy donations to sciences focused on climate change research (wtf??) What's yours, justification would be bolla. submitted by /u/FriskyGrub [link] [comments] Read More

[Discussion] What's the quickest way to get money into the marketplace?

Hi all, I am somewhat new to crypto and am trying to find how to get money into the market place quickly and in larger sums. At the moment I have been putting money into Coinbase (either by the $500/week limit via credit card, or by the direct link to the bank account) and transferring it to Bittrex and Bitfinex where I have been trading (but mostly holding). My main issues with this process is either high transaction fees or reduced flexibility to enter the market at opportune times: In regards to the $500 credit card option, this is EXPENSIVE and has little flexibility when it comes to adding large amounts of money to take advantage of opportunity (for instance, this weekends crash). In regards to the direct bank deposit, this takes FOREVER. I have been waiting all week for another deposit to drop and have have missed a lot of opportunities I would like to jump on. Does anyone have a better process to get money into the marketplace when I want it and for cheap? I still cons

ETH missing from Bittrex and TxId not matching?

2 days ago I transferred a small amount of Ethereum from MEW to Bittrex. When looking at my Bittrex account, the transaction is showing up under 'Deposit History' but the ETH hasn't arrived in my wallet. Also, the TxId being shown on Bittrex is entirely different to the TxId that is showing on EtherScan. Fortunately, the wallet addresses are matching on both, which gives me hope. I've e-mailed Bittrex support but they still haven't responded, and based on what I'm reading online, I'll be lucky to get any response from them within a week. I would appreciate any guidance or advice as to if there is a safer exchange to be using in the future or if there's anything I can do in this situation. Thanks :) submitted by /u/Adoku_NZ [link] [comments] Read More

Don't forget the Byteball Airdrop !

Hi everyone, each full moon, Tony (Byteball dev) launches an airdrop which gives away free gbytes and blackbytes to bitcoin holders. This coin r/byteball is a rare gem, the technology is amazing, transactions are fast, there are so many bots and now, a cashback program built with merchants which is going to be bigger in midterm. If you're a byteball newcomer, I advise you to download the light node which is faster to sync and link your current bitcoin address with the transition bot help. Last piece of advice (but do what you want) : I strongly recommend to not dump these free coins right away. First, because it's a promising technology. I will hold mine for a long time. Next airdrop is in 7 hours : https://byteball.org , so hurry up if you want to join the community. Top Coin Gainers / Losers

I coded up a new tool in my website, and I wanted to share it with you first: http://ift.tt/2x8Gsmj The tool tracks top gainers and losers for a specified interval of time. You can track price % gains as well as market cap gains (if ETH gains 1% - thats much more than if a shitcoin gains 10%). This interface has live update, so you can leave it running on "NOW" setting and watch for spikes. This should work for desktop and mobile. Let me know if you find bugs, or you think that the search is too complicated. I may need add some informational tips or make it simpler and put some stuff into Advanced Options. (I live in Canada but I dont think that matters) Also where is a good place to learn about investing in crypto? And without verifying an account, cashing out is going to be hard. When it is time to sell a coin, I would just trade into another crypto currency and just keel my investment across many different currencies since I wont be able to cash out or on some exchanges there isnt even an option for fiat currency. I could just use USDT, but I dont trust it fully and I wouldnt be able to cashout. for example when a coin increases in value, and you want to sell the coin, i assume most people sell into feit currency, and might buy the coi

An artificial but fixable crypto bubble?

I reckon one of the biggest issues with bitcoin is its dominance in terms of trade. Because it is the 'gatekeeper' currency used to access all the other Cryptos reliance on it is massive and so it creates over-valuing of other currencies and icos (this is why China banned them)... if all of the other crypto currencies were as easily tradeable with fiats internationally then the bubble effect would be diminished. every Crypto currency would be speculatively bought and sold based on its own merits and not have a 'pumped up' value from bitcoin. Not sure if this is completely wrong, but thoughts would be appreciated... submitted by /u/mrmendelsohn [link] [comments] Read More

SONM A Universal Fog Supercomputer Powered by the Ethereum Blockchain

A frequently heard critique of blockchain technology is that mining is a power-intensive process that consumes energy, generates heat and damages the environment for the sole purpose of maintaining the blockchain. On the other hand, perhaps the energy spent can be partly redirected toward other important applications.SONM Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining is an

Bittrex (or other exchange) - buying beyond budget by mistake - scenario

I have a question - I hope someone can answer. For new users of exchanges - dealing with so many coins of so varying prices and dealing with BYC / satoshi it would be easy to get confused flicking between coins. What would happen if a person has say 1BTC in their account (at Bittrex) and by accident ordered 1.5BTC of ALT coins - for example they bought the wrong coin - the coin they wanted was $0.01 but they bought the same quantity of coins at say $1 thus spending 100x what they intended to - what would happen? submitted by /u/LordoftheCoins2017 [link] [comments] Read More

IS BITTREX ABOUT TO SCAM US??

If you look at Bittrex graphs, nearly every BTC exchange has a graph in the shape of the letter W. All at the same time. That is strange. If you were to look at it like a scam you would see this would be the fastest way to get the momst money put onto their exchange. I mean, all the graphs are up tirty percent, down twenty five percent and up a bit. All at the same time, same shape. I pointed this out to someone and they said USA citizens were banned from trading on this exchange, which is a USA exchange. Which makes me wonder if they are about to exit scam the people outside of USA as bugger all would be done about it if they were not hurting US citizens while they are located in USA. Look i highly doubt this is happening but it does look strange all the graphs like this at once and for USA not to be able to use Bittrex if that is true, and the SEC having a say on ICO's, maybe they are having a say on exchanges or exchanges know something is coming? Confused about what it means when altcoins go "on sale"

So the markets are down and there are all these memes saying "buy, buy, buy". Well I want to pick up some alts (e.g. OMG, ARK, 0x) now that they're "on sale". The thing is though, you can only buy these alts on exchanges with BTC/ETH. And since BTC/ETH are down, and the alts prices are correlated with these (at least with ETH), yes, I can exchange some ETH for OMG but it's definitely not "on sale." In fact, I would be throwing 1 ETH at OMG and just getting a lot fewer OMG in return than I would have three days ago. I know I can (and should) buy some more ETH while it's low and could spend that, but am I not better off holding that ETH and waiting for it to go back up 10-15% than I am gambling on an alt? I considered buying alts with BTC (BTC is down 6% while the alts are down 15%+ in USD, though in the case of OMG it's down 0% in relation to BTC according to coinmarketcap, while ARK is down 10% in relation to BTC. Does this indicate tha
