Hitbtc withdrawal fees for populous (PPT)

I have 2.1 PPT in my Hitbtc account. It's not alot but it's worth around $80.

I just went to withdraw my ppt to my NEW address and noticed that Hitbtc are asking for 2PPT to make a withdrawal! That will cost me around $70.

Why are they asking for so much? Is this a possible issue with having unregulated exchanges?

I am aware the eth network is screwing around and fees are having to be increased but this is taking the hand out of it.

Has anyone else ever seen this or have any suggestions on how to get my PPT out and not lose it all to an extortionate fee?
