NXT worth investing $200 in? (or other suggestions, "long"-term)

I'm not really into crypto (I'm familiar with bitcoin and ethereum but that's about it, (I did make some money from the latter), and during a conversation a friend suggested that I should buy (or at least look into) some NXT.

I googled a bunch but I'm sure a lot of info is misleading/sensationalism, so maybe someone here can give me a good opinion?

I have around $200 to invest in a coin, and am mostly looking just to fire-and-forget for 3 months or so. Better suggestions are of course welcome!
