Buying cryptocurrency in china as a foreigner

Hi all, I currently work inside China, and I would like to buy some cryptocurrency using funds from my chinese bank, these banks use unionpay and are notoriously hard to use. There are some exchanges but they seem to only allow chinese users to sign up (as they require a chinese card) has anyone been able to use their chinese bank account as a foreigner here?

Any help would be appreciated.
