How much is a reasonable investment?

I'm looking at buying Ethereum for the long-haul. Currently I have about $100k in liquid assets, and I would like to know how much is reasonable to invest. I'm young with a stable job and able to accept risk if the potential gain is worth it.

Right now I'm just looking at investing $10k, but leaning toward doing more, if the future for Ethereum looks stable enough.
