At this point it seems pretty suspicious that Coinbase goes down before there's a any kind of price change.
Even during smaller dips, Coinbase almost always goes down for a few minutes while prices are low, then conveniently comes back when prices are rising. They claim it's because of traffic, but sometimes it happens before the charts even show any kind of fluctuation. It might be nothing, but it happens way too often and consistently.
