Anyone with some advice for investing?

In the last week I've done quite a bit of research into cryptocurrencies. That resulted in a $1000 investment in BTC, ETH, and LTC.

My question is: Should I put more money into altcoins? I've looked up quite a few of them. Monero, Ripple, ADA, Stellar Lumens and Monacoin all look interesting and are available at decent prices. But I need to hear some opinions on the outlooks of these coins. It would also be helpful to fully understand the differences between all of them, so if you have any further literature I'd be interested in that as well. Thanks!
