Is Elixir a good investment?

I noticed that this coin was really taking off over the last few days. I am pretty new to crypto, but this is the first idea and coin that seems pretty self-explanatory/unique and could lead to widespread adoption in a short period of time (obviously dependent on the team's marketing strategies, development, etc.). I am thinking about investing, any thoughts?
