Fairly New to the game

Ive been following cryptocurrency for a couple of years now so i have some idea of how it works and the ideas behind it. But im wondering what the best Platform for trading between them is, I have some Litecoin, but am trying to trade it to BTC so that i can use it readily in everyday life. I tried Coinbase, but as im a Canadian it will not let me trade between the 2, any suggestions on what platform is the best for me to use?
