If BTC ↑ moon, then what happens to ALTS???

Now that BTC seems to be on the rise again, what are the implications for altcoins in the next couple months if BTC starts heading for the moon?

I ask because I'm tempted to sell what little stake I have in alts for BTC, but I'm pretty new to the whole thing, so thought I'd ask people with more experience.
