What is the best exchange for someone looking to keep fees low and do some trading? [X-Post r/Cryptocurrency]

It seems like Bittrex is the preferred around here; any others I should look into? I'm in the US, if it matters.

I've spent the past week trying to get un-burned by Coinbase, so I'm trying to cut all communications with them (as soon as they give me my damn money...)

I think I'd like to Long Monero and BTC (maybe BCH) and then fuck around with daytrading on a few alts.

Any tips or advice is appreciated,
