Are Lisk and PIVX good medium/long term investments? Why yes or why not?

I've read a little about them but I don't understand completely how they are different and how they compare to other technologies and cryptos that do the same or similar things. That copywriting everywhere in the official sites is really annoying when you are trying to objectively compare them.
