$500 Portfolio

I am looking to create a cryptocurrency portfolio. My dad “gave” me $500 to invest. The money will be used for college down the road. I will keep it for about 3 years (when I go to college). I don’t want a ton of risk so I was thinking about mostly ethereum, some bitcoin, and random alt coins. I’ve heard NEM is promising. I want to double the money, not sure if that is reasonable but the way bitcoin moves it could I guess. I need help figuring out how much I should invest in each coin. Maybe 20% could be dedicated to mildly risky stuff? Thanks
