Reasons for limit order not being triggered on dips/spikes?

So for a second time in a week I see a sudden dip or spike in some kraken assets for which I have setup a limit order but it wasn't triggered... I asked their support for the reason but didnt receive a reply yet.

Can you think of valid reasons for these short dips/spikes are not triggering the order?
