So what about Bitcoin Gold (BTG) now?

I've picked up some negativity about BTG, like it's a failure, it's not even out there as a split usable coin, only in the futures market. Look at how well the market cap and price is on Bitcoin Cash. Looking forward to getting it and and going long. Thoughts and perspectives on BTG anyone?
