Bitcoin less on Coinbase than GDAX?

Hi all,

Not sure if I'm confusing my exchange rates (it's my first trade/buy, so excited!):

I'm based in the UK so all figures are GBP/EUR. These are the figures I'm getting for one bitcoin:

Coinbase - £8,461 GDAX - €9,881.

If I do a GBP - EUR exchange check on Google, that gives me £8,461 = €9,588.

That's a €300 difference.

Have I completely misunderstood something?

So if I bought 1 bitcoin on Coinbase, I would pay €9,588 + 1.5% fee = €9,731.

Then I'd transfer it onto GDAX and sell it where I would get €9,881 - 0.25% fee = €9,857

So that's a profit of €126?

Have I made a mistake somewhere?
