The great Cryptocurrency Market Panic of 11/20/2017?

Did we all just witness what people are not supposed to do yesterday? Just how much money was lost in that pull off the table an put back into the market in a 12 hr time frame? I understand it hard not to get emotional and make a bad decision, I've done it many times. Don't tell me everyone was shorting.
