Ripple Lawsuit!

Ripple is being sued by R3, the creator of the distributed ledger Corda, for wrongful termination of a contract. In 2016 Ripple gave R3 the option to buy up to 5 Billion XRP at $.0085 per unit. At a current market value of $.20 per unit, the contract is worth 1 Billion USD. R3 could buy 5% of XRP's market cap at less than 5% of market value.
