Is GNT dead?

I remembering buying into GNT when it was about $0.42 USD or so. I read online that it was supposed to be the "revolutionary coin" and "game changer." I hodled for a while and then it went up to to about $0.70 USD and I was ready to sell but couldn't because I didn't have any ethereum in my Ether Wallet :[

Well now it seems like golem is dying out with no chance to return... what do you guys all think? It's either hodl the 50% or so of what I originally had or cut the losses from here. It seems like the general opinion is that GNT is done for.
