How to see the real ICO

Every time I open something like ico-list.com I get bombed by different ICOs and I can't differentiate whats real on the Vegas looking sites and proposals. I mean, the whole crypto world is designed to make finances easier and decentralized, and I love the way that its evolving, but man I feel like we made it all more complicated again. So, help a brother in need, how do I make a good selection and invest in the real ICO?
