Day Traders: do you guys worry about taxes with all of your trades?

I'm a hodler mainly because I think I'd make a bad day trader. However, with the current China drama I've correctly predicted several of the crashes and if I'd acted on those predictions I would've made more money. However, I don't day trade because I've heard I'd be taxed at a high rate for every coin transaction I make because coin profits are taxed as capital gains. Am I missing something? Should I have been say trading this whole time? Thanks.
