BTC to the moon?

So I got into this game about one week ago. After extensive research I put together a portfolio of various altcoins and it's been going well. Or has it? Because if I study my stats more closely Bitcoin simply outperforms everything. Maybe the better strategy is just to put everything in Bitcoin and not worry about other coins? Is this sort of growth that outperformsm most altcoins normal?
