Connected coins?

Hi, relatively new to coins and reddit. Have any of you noticed that lately all mayor coins seem so follow near exact patterns? It seems that (appart, more or less, from BTC) coins as LTC, ETH go up and down more or less at same time, and with price differences also similar. a couple hundred dollars invested any day (or near days) in similar coins give very similar results. this happens in any mayor market (didn't looked at little markets)
