My transaction got lost?

Idk if this is the right subreddit i should be posting on. Kinda confused.

Sent bitcoin from my exodus wallet to coinbase. Then check the transaction ID that exodus gave me and it says it doesn't exist. BTC wasn't added to my coinbase account. So i guess i lost that bitcoin? The address was copy pasted directly from Coinbase so i couldn't have typed it wrong. Anyone know what could've happened?
