Are the alt coins that used to be on Cryptsy gone forever?

I know Cryptsy's story has long become old news, but I just found out the price of an alt coin I had loads of is... substantial, life changing money.

I know the founders (or the "hacker" lol...) took all the BTC and LTC from the site, but what happened to the hundreds of alts that people kept on their accounts? Are they lost to cyberspace forever?

Wishful thinking, but I assume they're gone.
