Any insight into why the crypto markets are experiencing such a boon at the moment?

I've noticed from coinmarketcap that there's a lot of money coming into varied coin markets. As of now, the market cap is up seven billion in one day, and 87 billion since October 29th.

Is there something specific driving this trend or is it up in the air what the causes might be?
