"Insufficient collateral available in your margin balance" - poloniex margin trading

Does anybody have this issue constantly? I just don't understand it. I can have a positive margin, a positive unrealized P/L, and available btc to buy coins. But I get this popup over and over again. I'm forced to continuously reduce the amount I'm trying to buy until I'm at the minimum (0.02) and often times it still wont let me do it, even if I have an entire BTC available to borrow. What gives?
