Am I reading this OBV indicator correctly?

I just came across the On Balance Volume indicator and I'm having trouble understanding how to read it for some charts.

This is the chart for ETH-BTC (Ethereum - Bitcoin), and the OBV indicator is below it. It doesn't look right to me, because the volume for mid-March and now are about the same level, but the price is much, much higher now. You would think with the huge influx of new investors in May and June that the volume would be much higher. Is this indicating that the price is higher than it should be?
