What should I invest in and when?(First Time)

I am sure that this post will make most people cringe, however I want to start investing in Cryptocurrency now (while I'm in college) for long term profits and sometimes short term profits. There are many websites that give intros on how to start investing, but I'd rather have the opinion of someone in this group. Thanks for the help!
