Best way to buy cryptos and ICOs with euro €

I'm relatively new to this world and I'd like to buy some cryptos with euro. I know i could buy btc from local bitcoins and move to an exchange(kraken o bittrex) , or convert with shapeshift. I could open an account on a exchange on kraken that allows eur deposits. I see someone is starting start suggesting lykke too...

What do you suggest based on your experience for about 1000€ investment for security and low fees??
