Looking to invest about $4,000 in cryptocurrency

I have no preference between regular trading and holding on, I want to educate myself before I do constant trading of course.

I would like some diversification, perhaps 3-5 options? I've been looking at the charts and considering ones like Golem (gnt), Monero(xmr), Etherum (eth) However, Its rather difficult for me to delve into all the variables and news etc. Hence why im here, hope this is the right place to be asking.

ANY advice, tips, information and/or resources would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
