Confirmations needed for transaction to be valid?

For bittrex to credit a coin while depositing each coin needs different amount of confirmations.

EMC2 needs 999 confirmations which takes about 24hours. Most other coins need a lot less.

So I searched for a list of coins & confirmations needed but I couldn't find anything.

Anyone know of such a list? Thanks in advance
