Altcoins to invest in before the fork

I just got a nice bonus unexpectedly from my employer, and I've got 5 figures to invest in some crypto (and I paid off my car woohoo)

What would you suggest for short term gains? I'm looking mostly for shortterm post-fork after which I can reassess

Contemplating finishing up a Wtc masternode, or getting some more Ark.
